Przemysław Borkowski is a professor of transport economics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdansk. His research interests are in the fields of transport economics and risk management. He was involved in several international research projects on transport networks, their optimization, and investment efficiency. Infrastructure feasibility is a major part of his scientific interests. He was and is also engaged as an expert for the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure and Ministry of Environment and in the TRAN Committee of the European Parliament presenting expert opinions for this body. For 8 years he has been the chairman of the Forwarding and Logistics Competition, an event attended by more than 6000 participants yearly.
