Dr hab. Jana Pieriegud, prof. SGH
Jest inżynierem i ekonomistą transportu z dwudziestopięcioletnim doświadczeniem działalności w sektorze B+R, przygotowaniu analiz rynkowych oraz doradztwie strategicznym dla biznesu i administracji publicznej. Doktor habilitowany nauk ekonomicznych, profesor w Katedrze Badań nad Infrastrukturą i Mobilnością w Instytucie Infrastruktury, Transportu i Mobilności SGH. Jest niezależną ekspertką w obszarze transportu, infrastruktury, logistyki, mobilności i cyfryzacji. Pracuje na rzecz szeregu instytucji i agencji wykonawczych ds. innowacji i badań w Polsce i za granicą, w tym REA i CINEA przy Komisji Europejskiej.
Specjalizuje się w zagadnieniach związanych z rozwojem sieci TEN-T oraz korytarzy transportowych między Europą i Azją, transportu intermodalnego, konkurencji na rynku usług kolejowych, finansowaniu infrastruktury transportowej, a także wykorzystaniem zielonych i cyfrowych technologii w transporcie i logistyce. Jest autorką i współautorką ponad 160 publikacji, raportów, współredaktorką serii monografii poświęconych przyszłości transportu i mobilności. Przygotowała szereg raportów, które zyskały międzynarodowe uznanie (m.in. Analysis of the potential of the development of rail container transport market in Poland, 2019; The Polish Railway Market 2020/21; Digital transformation of railways, 2018). Członek kapituły konkursu „Produkt Innowacyjny dla Logistyki, Transportu i Produkcji” (Eurologistics) oraz UIC Digital Platform Award.

She is a transport economist with a background in railway engineering, economics and management as well as twenty-five years of experience in the R&D&I activity, market intelligence analysis and strategic consultancy for entrepreneurs and public administration. She is a Professor at the Institute of Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility, SGH Warsaw School of Economics. She is an independent expert in the areas of transport, infrastructure, logistics, mobility and digitalisation. She works for several institutions and executive agencies for innovation and research in Poland and abroad, including REA and CINEA at the European Commission.
Her areas of research include the development of the TEN-T network and rail freight corridors between Europe and Asia, transport infrastructure funding, intermodal transport, competition on the railway market, using green and digital technologies in transport and logistics. She authored and co-authored in excess of 160 research papers and book chapters. She is a co-editor of monographs in the areas of Poland's transport system, future of network industries, digitalisation and new concepts of mobility. She has prepared a number of railway industry analyses that are internationally recognized: Analysis of the potential of the development of rail container transport market in Poland (EC, DG Regio, 2018), The Polish Railway Market 2020/21, and Digital transformation of railways (SGH, Siemens, 2019). She is a member of the UIC Digital Platform Award Jury.
