Adam Torok holds an MSc in Transport Engineering since 2004 from BME and an MSc in Financing Engineering since 2007 from BME. He received PhD in Transport Sciences from BME Faculty of Transport Engineering in 2008. Since 2004, he has been an active member of the Hungarian Scientific Transport Association. Since 2016, he also holds PhD in Business and Management from the BME Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences. His research activity was awarded the János Bólyai Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2011-2014 and the Program for New National Excellence in 2017. In 2021, he successfully defended his academic doctoral thesis; in 2022, he was appointed full-time university professor—number of publications: 335.
